Incredible location for an amazing apartment

Pros: Apartment looked exactly as pictured and it is fantastic. With two bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen and central lounge there is ample space. The location is incredible … in the old town near the beach and promenade and surrounded by dining options. In a vibrant location and we enjoyed opening the windows and hearing all the sounds from the street. Owner very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. We will stay here again

A wonderful stay in a fabulous location

Pros: A wonderful, unique property within a beautiful building. Excellent location, couldn’t have asked for better. An abundance of restaurants, shops and bars on the same street. Apartment itself was spacious, clean, with all the facilities required.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Pros: Spacious and great location. Everything we needed was provided for and the owner or property manager was easily contactable. The owner accommodated our request to modify the check out requirement. Much appreciated.

Cons: The only issue was the shower drain was a little blocked towards the end of our stay but it wasn’t a major problem.

Fantastic location…..

Pros: Lovely apartment. Close to lovely restaurants and bars. Beautiful Building , all we needed for a great stay.

Cons: The only thing wrong with the apartment was the rock hard mattresses that made you wake up aching all over.

Great location in the heart of Old Nice

Pros: The location couldn't be better. In the heart of Old Town, steps away from the market and many amazing restaurants and the beach. It's one floor above ground level, with a beautiful stairwell and a small elevator. The apartment itself was quite large, and nicely renovated for such a historic building. Very nicely decorated, and the soundproof windows worked great. There was a bit of noise from the Irish pub downstairs but the windows blocked about 90% of the music. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and the shower water pressure was very nice. The instructions for getting the keys were very clear. A good combo washer/dryer. Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent provided, as well as oil, salt, pepper, and vinegar in the kitchen. Overall we would likely stay here again if we returned to Nice. And thankfully the host had likely fixed some things since previous reviews, since we did not notice any smell coming from the dishwasher, and the coffee machine worked great.

Cons: The cleanliness could have been better. When we arrived, there were still crumbs, debris on the floors and chairs, and dust and some stickiness everywhere. The kitchen equipment were not well suited to the place. For example, most of the pots and pans did not work on the induction stovetop, so there were only 2 or 3 that we could actually use. And also things like many of the plates are too large for the dishwasher. The microwave is also hard to access for anyone who isn't tall. There are also many little things that were inconvenient, such as there was no shelf for the shower, no nightstands in the second bedroom, no hooks or racks for towels in the bathrooms. The beds and linens were not the most comfortable, but overall it was fine. Some lights weren't working. There were no instructions left for the washer/dryer (though there were instructions for many other machines). We were there for a longer stay, but there were very little toilet paper and coffee pods left for us, and there were also no cleaning materials left for us to use ourselves either so we ended up purchasing things like bathroom cleaner to use during our stay since it was longer. As others have mentioned, the layout of the bathrooms is rather strange. There is one toilet near the entrance, but there is no sink there so you would have to go somewhere else to wash your hands. Then the master bedroom has a sink and tub but no toilet there. There was a list of chores to do at the end of our stay, airbnb style. It wasn't too unreasonable (dishes, trash, etc) but that along with having to return the keys elsewhere, it made getting out a bit slow.

A Nice place!

Pros: It's a spacious apartment, confortable beds, good location în the heart of the town.The flower's market is very charming.

Cons: There is a litle problem with the bath tub in the main bedroom: the shower's water is falling all around and the floor gets wet.

charming BUT very noisy

Pros: This apartment is charming. it is beautifully French with an excellent location in old Nice.

Cons: The facilities are strangely situated. the master bedroom has a big bath and sink but no toilet or standup shower when there is plenty of room for both. the toilet attached to this bedroom is by the front door which is directly opposite the second bedroom and the bathroom for the second bedroom is in the lounge
