Nice spacious room in central location but poor internal soundproofing
Pros: central location, spacious room, very good shower, very comfy bed
Cons: Lobby area not very welcoming, I was unfortunate with extremely noisy neighbours during second night and despite several interventions by concierge they did not stop until about 4 pm. This is not the hotel’s direct fault but maybe guests should be made more aware that sound proofing is not so good.

Pros: Great hotel, very close to railway station and tram, well appointed rooms, friendly staff, free teas and coffee all day - excellent value for money. Will definitely stay there again when in Nice

Competent staff, relaxing rooms with a touch of luxury
Pros: The staff in general is very polite, welcoming and helpful, they find a solution to any situation, making you feel that you don’t have to worry about anything at all and you can truly relax. Slippers and bathrobes in the room, just like the bathroom accessories give that touch of luxury and the bed is quite comfy. There is courtesy tea, coffee and water available in the lobby all day: it’s a small extra but yet again, it makes you feel welcome and carefree.
Cons: When opening the window at mealtimes, the smell from the restaurant below can be felt in the rooms overlooking the courtyard or the smaller street (Rue d’Angleterre) - this might be different in the wing overlooking Rue de Belgique though. And something of a personal taste and easy to change: I personally don’t like having two televisions in the two lobby/breakfast spaces with the news running on them constantly. This does not help to disconnect and relax at all and I believe that whoever wants to consult the news during breakfast or an afternoon tea, can do so on their own devices. I’d prefer to have some chill/smooth jazz music or images of nature/a cosy interior on the screens if you have to have screens on at all.

Pros: Perfect stay! Everything was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom great, and everything was spotlessly clean and fresh. The reception staff were outstanding, especially Mr. Azis, who helped us plan our itinerary and shared very useful local tips. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

Pros: The nice, cosy, with a good location hotel. Maybe there is not a place with brand-new furnishings, but everything is clean and fresh. The hotel provides free beverages (water, tea and coffee) for every guest. For me, it was relaxing and comfy staying, also due to the hotel staff. They were very kind and polite, always ready to help, inform and support.

Perfect base for Nice
Pros: The location was ideal, very close to the train station, cafes and shopping street. It was also within 5 mins to Monoprix, and a stone's throw away from tram station. The bed was super comfortable and the room was of a good size. The bathroom was of a reasonable size and, with a good layout. The staff were warm and friendly. I would recommend anyone visiting Nice to stay here as a base.
Cons: No replenishment of bottled water in room.
