Mercure Nice Centre Grimaldi

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — right in the city center, close to the train station and the English Promenade. The hotel itself is very charming, with interesting and creative room designs. The room was clean, housekeeping was done every day, and the staff at the reception were true professionals — always helpful and friendly. I truly felt at home during my stay. Thank you so much to the entire team for the warm welcome and great service. I would be happy to stay here again!

Pros: Brilliant location, easy walk to everything we wanted to do. Great value breakfast available.

Cons: the in room air con could have been cooler. Room hot over night.

Pros: The location was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The information received before our stay was very good and appreciated. The room was small but we're not staying in a city centre hotel for the room.

Cons: 2 main negatives - 1. The bed was uncomfortable. 2. It was very noisy - not sure if they have quieter rooms located elsewhere which would be useful to know for future. So although as mentioned above the room was fine, what we did need was a good night's sleep and unfortunately we didn't get it.

Pros: We stayed for 2 nights we asked if we could change our room as we found the 1st room a little small and noisy. The staff were very good and accommodating and the 2nd room was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. We will stay again, particularly due to the staff in the hotel.

I had a lovely time, excellent breakfast and location, but room services could have been better.

Pros: I loved absolutely everything except that the hair dryer in my room was not working. There is no spa or swimming pool at the hotel but I knew it while booking. My room was very clean, proper, and comfortable! The breakfast was absolutely delicious exceeded my expectations 1000% The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and polite. The location of the hotel is also great, very close to all major tourist attractions. A 10 min walk from the beach! The locality is also safe. I had a lovely time.

Cons: The hairdryer wasn't working and they did not provide slippers (although I did bring my own). The view from my room was just another building and the wallpaper was frankly a bit creepy. But the rest was great! Would love to visit again as it is reasonably priced for the services they provide along with the location of the hotel.

Pros: Good location. Quiet street. Very good buffet breakfast. Room had great blackout curtains.

Cons: The air conditioning was not switched in for the entire hotel. The weather during our stay was warm so the room was a little uncomfortable for sleep at night.
