Luxueux 3 Pièces - Wilson

A lovely two night stay in Nice

Pros: We had a lovely two night stay at Luxueux 3 Pièces - Wilson. It was very homely and we enjoyed having some extra space after being in a hotel for a week prior to our visit. It is walking distance to the main strip of Nice, which is filled with restaurants and cafes, however there are two supermarkets located right outside the gate for those who wish to cook for themselves!

Pros: Much to praise and lived up to expectations from previous reviews. The apartment is bright, spacious and very comfortable for 2 to 4 persons. The kitchen is well fitted with a nice big fridge and all the essentials. Very nice shower room and convenient downstairs toilet. Very well situated for town and beach both a short walk. Public transport and taxis are very handy. A nice area and a local store on the doorstep.

Cons: A few niggles that would gain points. Only one toilet roll in each facility provided and you have to buy a huge pack to replace. It would be helpful to have a couple more rolls for the pittance they cost. Same with toiletries. A token gesture not worth mentioning. If you supply them do so with sufficient to cover the number of guests and days staying. The flight restrictions on liquids make this a welcome find and as you can't return with anything bought it makes sense to provide sufficient please. We had 2 miniscule bottles of shower gel and shampoo and coin size soap for 3 of us! Also bin liners. A bathroom spare was eventually found under the bag in the bin.. The last place you'd look. We found no spares for my kitchen. Not the sort of thing we want to buy when you only need a couple. We bought kitchen roll for spills as nothing but one cloth to clean the kitchen with. Small gripes that make a big difference. I found the sheets in my room a very strange texture and not pleasant on the skin but the beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well.

Pros: Stylish, comfortable accommodation, easy access to all of the areas we were interested in. The hospitality and communication were excellent throughout our stay

Cons: There were a few problems with temperamental air con units

Pros: The location is just fabulous! Few minutes walk from the main shopping street and the promenade. The apartment also has everything what you might need to stay comfortable during your trip. Also very clean and tidy.

Cons: Smallest improvement: soap almost run out in both bathrooms. Also would be nice to have a proper kitchen towel, not the paper one. Otherwise, all great!

Fantastic

Pros: The property was clean and ample for 4 guests,it is well appointed with 2 bathrooms and comfortable beds. Cecilia was prompt and very friendly. She met us at the property after some communication and was very informative about places nearby. Great host

A real good place to explore Cote d'Azur

Pros: Very good located, clean and well equipped apartment.

Pros: This place was definitely worth the money! It was very spacious, clean and comfy. Air conditioners in every room and good facilities to make food and wash your clothes. We would stay here again:)

5 nights in Nice

Pros: Excellent location for old town and new town and beach, very clean property, good equipment and facilities, excellent layout of rooms, very good air conditioning, owner checked with us that we were fine in the apartment, easy pick up of keys.

Cons: Info at time of booking said toiletries provided but this was minimal, for instance no hand wash or soap in downstairs toilet, no body wash or shampoo in shower. Providing make up remover in the bathroom is not toiletries in my view.

Nice is a great place to visit and this apartment is ideally located to explore the city.

Pros: The property was in a great location. close to the promenade and also to the tram line running to and from the airport. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Cons: perhaps some playing cards or games being available as we had a day of rain and not much to do to pass the time.

Pros: Hostess met us when we arrived with the key - communicating via Whats App so no one wasted any time. It was excellent.

Cons: Parking is difficult in the area, but our hostess let us know when street parking is free and where the nearest parkade was, which was very handy.
