Hotel La Citadelle

Pros: The room was simply perfect and every comodity available around the street.

Wonderful stay in a cute French hotel.

Pros: Large comfy bed and beautiful little balcony that overlooked the sea and wall. Loved the French feel of our room. Staff were friendly and helpful, and when there was a mistake in the charge for our stay, it was quickly rectified.

Cons: Nothing. Perhaps an offer of breakfast included.

Lovely property and a beautiful town

Pros: Nice property, in a beautiful town. Not too far to walk to get to the old town

Good value for money

Pros: The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is great, just a short walk from the old town and beach The owner was nice and helpful.

Cons: No option for beach towel rental or use.

Easy, stress free, perfect base for exploring and a good quiet nights sleep.

Pros: It’s a great location off the main road so nice and quiet. It’s nice and small so didn’t feel busy. Just a stroll up the hill and your on the main road, or take a lovely winding walk down in to the town, fantastic. The communication from the nice lady who runs it was excellent though the booking .com app. I could collect my key from the secure box and didn’t need to check in at a certain time, excellent.

Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Balcony breakfasts

Pros: We were very pleased with our room with comfortable bed in a cosy room large balcony doors overlooking the bay. We bought great coffee and croissants and morning bread 100 meters away, and ate on the balcony. Wonderful.

Pros: Check in from 12 pm. Balcony with sea view (and beautiful sunrise). Fridge (quiet) and stainless steel kettle. Short walk to tourist information office, Citadel and old town, railway station and beach. Big shower cubicle. Without the sea view from balcony, we would not have enjoyed our stay as much

Cons: Only 1 bedside table. No room for suitcases but OK for a short stay.

nice and quite location

Pros: good location ,nice friendly staff, clean and tidy ,close to train staion ideal for travel to nice .monaco

Good value for money - in a convenient location

Pros: Really great location, just a short walk from the sea front and train station etc. There are shops, pharmacy, bakeries near by which is was convenient. We arrived late but Augusta had contacted me to arrange where I could pick up key and the iron I had asked to be in our room was there. The room had all we needed and was very clean, comfortable with a great shower!

Cons: The windows didn't open very wide so it was difficult to get air into the room. It wasn't too hot outside when we stayed so it wasn't a big issue but being able to get more air would have been nice. The pillows were not very good, I didn't ask for more though which I am sure we would have gotten without issue.
