Hôtel Le Versailles

A fantastic restful break

Pros: the views, the pool, the large room and amazing view, the friendly staff, the cute teeny dogs, and the delicious nicoise salads. we had a fantastic trip!

Cons: The free breakfast was very limited and less than ideal (croissants & bread only) - for healthy options or more choice, I'd recommend not paying for breakfast included in advance and just pay for what you would like to eat each day or eat somewhere else locally.

Pleasant but lacked a few basic amenities.

Pros: Nice view and the rooms were new. Aircon was good.

Cons: There’s no shower or shower curtain, you have to hold up the sprayer over your head. No wear to hang your towels, could do with some hooks. No iron. The only mirror is in the bathroom, no floor length mirror.

Very good

Pros: I liked the location, the secure parking, the very helpful hosts. I thought it was good value for money. The room on arrival was very clean

Cons: I thought the room could have been cleaned a little better whilst we were staying.

Pros: The hotel was really great! The pool area was just lovely and the view was stunning. Everything was in walking distance. We loved our stay.

Cons: The Continental breakfast in not worth the money. Better to order ala carte. Also even though this was really a great hotel, it was also the most pricy on our trip amongst other great hotels as well.

A little gem

Pros: Staff were all very helpful and cheerful. The pool and breakfast area was absolutely lovely. The view over the bay was fantastic.

Cons: The room could do with some updating

Lovely hotel, great views, good location for VilleFranche old town and seafront.

Pros: The views from over the bay from the breakfast / pool area and from our rooms were stunning. The hotel is on a good location - it’s a short walk to VilleFranche new town / old town and to the sea front and a short bus trip / drive into Nice. All of the staff were excellent and provided great service. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Cons: We didn’t experience anything we disliked.

Amazed by the kitchen and great safe for us for one night.

Pros: We stayed only for one night. The first room had shower hoes that was not working, so the staff managed to change to room. For a bit smaller but nicer. They renovated the place, modern. They have an amazing helpful staff and workers, but there is no room service, but the food is amazing.

Cons: The walls are so thin you hear every breath at night of the neighbour. Should create room service for guests. Since their kitchen is amazing.

Pros: Great central location with amazing views from our own balcony and up on the rooftop restaurant too

Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful location, Villefranche-sur-Mer, with amazing coastal views. The staff are fabulous, friendly and polite and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is really comfortable. The rooms and hotel itself are spacious and clean and there is a lovely pool and surrounding area. It is highly recommended and we have stayed twice now!
