La Maïoun Guesthouse

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, La Maïoun Guesthouse is situated in Nice in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, 500 metres from the beach. Each dormitory room offers bunk beds with privacy curtains, a reading light, electrical outlets and a locker. There is access to a shared bathroom and toilet. The mixed dormitory includes a seating area where you can relax. A double room with access to a private external bathroom and shared toilet is also available. Free coffee and tea are provided in the shared living room. Guests have shared access to the kettle, microwave, toaster and refrigerator. The old city is 200 meters from the guesthouse, while the beach is only 5 minutes walking. From the airport it takes 30 minutes by tram (stop at Durandy station and then it's 5 minutes walking) La Maïoun is located in an old protestant temple dating from 1856 (no elevator)

Pros: A very nice girl welcomed me and explained the house rules. I felt very comfortable in the female room. My roommates were very calm, so I had a good rest. The breakfast was simple but very filling.

Pros: Very tidy and in the heart of nice. The owners were very nice. 5 min walk from tram stop Durandy that goes straight to the airport.

Overall it was perfect for my requirements.

Pros: Location was spot on. I wanted it to be by the Old Town and it was literally on the doorstep.

Cons: Price could have been a little lower due to some shared facilities and only one toilet.

Fantastic stay! Would def recommend and come back!

Pros: Someone really thought it through! This place has everything what you may need and more! Also, close to the centre, close to the beach, well equipped. Plus lovely breakfast in the morning :)

Pros: La Maïoun was one of my favourite hostels. Friendly helpful staff and a lovely homey, shabby but clean and comfortable accommodation.

Nice time in nice

Pros: Was great there close to everything only thing I did not like in nice was the train station Felt uneasy as soon as I walked in glad to get bk out Buses was ok packed out but was reliable But the hostel was great friendly helpful staff enjoyed it
