Great hostel - breakfast, location, overall value, professional but...
Pros: Great location, near the train station and major popular streets, beachfront, and well-known spots. Curtains around the beds provide privacy. A room for 4 beds was a bit small, but the shared bathroom for 4 beds was convenient. The room was quiet and sun-blocked. The highlight was the included breakfast, which, for a hostel-bed price, is more generous than most. Warm French pastry, a good range of beverages including cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, americano coffee, tea, ham, fruits, cheese, bread, jam, and almost all you can eat while available. Probably worth a few dollars. Whoever runs this wants to provide a genuine breakfast within the limit of their budget. The all-day common/breakfast/sitting area was great for work or socializing. I was comfortable staying here for 5 days.
Cons: On the last day of my stay, I came back to my room after a half-day out to find my small backpack and collapsible bucket had disappeared. I asked the front desk supervisor (Samir) about it. Without much of a search or enquiring, replied that he didn’t have it, nothing in the Lost and Found, that “I should have locked it in the locker” – basically a shrug of the shoulders. The room was only occupied by another girl, and the room was only accessible with a card. I urged him to ask the cleaning person, to which he replied: this person is non-contactable and asked that I come back at 9 am the next day, when I would have checked out. I told him for certain they were lost in the room and I would be going next to the police station to lodge a second report in 1 week (the first had nothing to do with the hostel). He then reluctantly went up the room, took a quick 5-second look, and came back to his front desk. Without searching around, he immediately looked behind his cupboard, and took out a black rubbish bag, tore it open, and my lost bag and bucket were there. I would have left without these if I had not been persuasive. I suggest that Management enquire, then give a public explanation to ensure all future visitors are assured.

Nice was fantastic, and staying at this hotel elevated my experience.
Pros: The hotel is very close to the train station and a few hundred meters from the main pedestrian street leading to Place Massena Square. There are also many Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are comfortable at a reasonable price.
Cons: Personally, I found the bunk beds a bit low, so I bumped my head quite a bit. However, that didn't significantly affect my experience.

Small hostel, good for one night.
Pros: The room was small, 4 bunk beds, not much space to put things except a cabinet. The bathroom is very small. The common room was nice and had good wifi signal. Did not have breakfast but there is an option for that too. Good that they were giving out earplugs at the lobby as one of the other people I shared the room with was snoring really badly and it made it difficult to fall asleep. The staff was very helpful and kind, thank you for their hard work.
Cons: It is what is it for the price.

Good value for money especially in the penthouse with the terrace.
Pros: Good value for money and the location was good as well. Easy to get to from the train station. The beds were comfortable and our room was spacious. I would recommend the room with the terrace.
Cons: I found it odd that no beverages or food was allowed in the rooms. I'm not sure if they were allowed in the common areas, some people did seem to enjoy their own food. The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel and people are used to having some snacks with them, at least. In any case guests should be allowed to have something to drink or eat in their own rooms, I think.

Great experience
Pros: One of the best hostels I have been to. Big plus was the shower room: no need to leave your room because it's inside + in case you forget to bring your own shower gel there are two fixed liquid soaps for you to survive. Room is generally well designed, from beds with curtains to spacious lockers. Breakfast was tasty, rich in nutrients and enough to make a good start of your day: boiled eggs, salami, cheese, fresh croissants, marmelade, coffee, juices. Outstanding location, just 3 minutes of walk from central train station, also close to the Promenade. Staff was friendly. I will return to Nice eventually and book here again. Thank you Ozz.
Cons: Everything was Nice.

Pros: The location is great, it's big with a lot of space for meeting people
Cons: As soon as I walked through the door to do the check in, I was told that I either have to pay 5 euros for a towel or leave a 5 star review to get it for free. It ended up being a good hostel anyway but it was a bad first impression The room was very small (4 female)
