PROMENADE HOLIDAY - PALATIN & SEA

Wonderful stay by the promenade

Pros: The location , right at the promenade was amazing.

Cons: Little dated, but good value for money.

Pros: Exceeded expectations, very spacious and the location is unbeatable

Love the location, spacious for couples, parking is tricky around NICE

Pros: Host gave clear instructions on keys collection, deposits and house rules. Room was clean and locations was good.

Fantastic loction and appartment.

Pros: The key collection and apartment locations were easy to find with video instructions sent via WhatsApp. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The appartement is clean and well equipped, the aircon works perfectly, and the bed is comfortable. It is well located within a stones throw of the beach and comes with a sea view balcony. The nearest tram station is a 5 minute wallk which has a direct link to the airport. The train station is a 15-minute walk which gives you access to the whole Cote D'Azur for days out to places such as Monaco etc... A 10 min walk along the promenade takes you to old Nice. Book with confidence. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely use these guys again.

Delightful apartment on the Promenade des Anglais

Pros: Fantastic downtown location right next to the Promenade des Anglais, within walking distance to the old town. We were impressed with the well stocked kitchen and delightful balcony with a view to the seafront, and spent many a night enjoying the views and breeze.

A perfect base camp for visiting Nice!

Pros: The location is incredible, especially for the price you’re paying here.

Cons: It could do with bit of updating but it’s nothing that you wouldn’t expect given the price - and still very comfortable and nice to spend time in when you are in.

Pros: It was a very comfortable apartment with a balcony with table & chairs overlooking the sea. It was well equipped and ideal for our stay. The ‘check in/out’ arrangements were very helpful as we arrived late & had to check out early. Although the apartment is advertised without internet, it had really good Wi-Fi. There was a good range of food supermarkets and outlets nearby.

Cons: Not a lot but…..these comments might be helpful for future guests. The apartment is perhaps a little ‘tired’ with some things needing attention. This is important because of the €99 cleaning charge and the €500 damage deposit. The cooker hood didn’t work although this was later acknowledged. There has been water damage to the ceiling and the internal door handle was loose. Also the rug in the sitting area was curled up at corners which could have been a tripping hazard. We were surprised when we checked the (well equipped) kitchen to find that some plates were dirty and the oven had not been cleaned. That led us to wash and clean all plates, glasses, cutlery etc and the oven - not what what we had expected given the €99 which the previous guests would have been charged and which we were charged! One thing missing from the kitchen was a decent chopping board!
