#29 Suite Gambetta AC Sea view 2 bedrooms 1min Walk to Promenade & Sea

Pros: Spacious and sunny two bedroom appartment, vith a view on the sea and two minutes from the Promenade. All amenities available, rooms spacious, beds comfy. Overall a good stay.

Cons: The building is old, so the floors are squeeky and one could hear the noise from the neighbouring apparements. The street can get noisy in the night. Some things in the appartment need improvement - the shutters seemed very old, there is no shower rack. The chek in was a bit confusing, with links not working etc.

Pros: The location was perfect. Close to the beach, plenty of supermarkets and cafes within close proximity.

Marvelous location, very comfortable base

Pros: Location was superb. Only a minute from Promenade des Anglais. Side view to sea from balcony. Balcony was larger than expected. Air conditioning was simple to operate and was very effective. Supermarket opposite. Plenty of pharmacies, restaurants etc. within 5/10 minutes walk. Nice Old Town only 20 minute walk away Buses within 1/2 minutes walk, Tram Line 2 within 10 minutes (Alsace Lorraine station), Gare Ville train station 20 minutes.

Cons: As is quite normal in France - and not within the control of the hosts - the lifts were VERY small Main issue - and again not within the control of the hosts - was that the road could be noisy at night (after midnight) with people laughing, shouting while refuse was generally collected between midnight and 1.00 a.m.

Pros: Excellent location, long balcony where you could see the sea. Carrefour just across the road so easy to buy provisions.

Pros: The apartment is nice but a little outdated. The location is perfect for the promenade.The staff was very nice and helpfull.

Cons: A little noisy from the street and also from the building.

Great apartment for a short stay break in Nice

Pros: Super location, comfortable apartment, helpful management. Supermarket and shops in close proximity. Easy travel from airport on public transport.

A relaxing stay in a great apartment

Pros: A very spacious apartment on the fourth floor of a building near the bottom of Boulevard Gambetta, featuring two double bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen and bathroom, plus a long balcony with a sea view. Very comfortable and well-equipped. The location is great: two minutes to the sea, opposite a Carrefour supermarket, and within a 15-minute walk of the old town. The hosts were very helpful and informative and offered recommendations for things to do and see.

Cons: Can't think of anything.

Nice visit

Pros: The apartment was perfectly located for visiting Nice. Next to the beach, 10 minutes from the tram and train stations and a short walk to the main city areas. Lots of immediate amenities, supermarkets, cafes / bars / restaurants. On a busy street but very little sound carried and very quiet in mornings and evenings Communication was excellent all the way up to and during the booking and would hesitate to book the apartment again when visiting Nice.

Overall a great location in Nice. Great property which we would recommend.

Pros: Great location a short walk to the boardwalk. We were surprised how quiet it was in the evenings. Close to the centre of Nice but in a very safe location. Many nearby grocery options. Lovely balcony as well, as real bonus.

Cons: Some of the furniture could be updated but otherwise it was acceptable.
