Clean, Spacious Apartment in a Prime Old Town Location

Pros: Very good location in the Old Town, within a short walking distance of all points of interest. We especially loved how close the apartment is to the château — if you climb up, you definitely get the best sunset views. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a very large bed. We definitely enjoyed our stay in this apartment.

Cons: The apartment is managed by an agency. Before arrival, they require online check-in through a website that does not appear very trustworthy. There is no clear information about how personal data is stored, so I was uncomfortable uploading a copy of my ID. Fortunately, we arrived during office hours, the office was open, and we were able to check in in person. A €500 deposit is required and taken as a pre-authorization, meaning the amount is blocked on your card. Although the agency stated that they released the deposit immediately after we checked out, the funds were only unblocked 7 days after we left, which caused inconvenience. I assume this delay was due to bank processing time. We really loved our stay in this apartment — it was very comfortable and pleasant. However, because of the deposit, I am not sure we choose to stay here again.

Great location. Easy access to tram, restaurants and food shops. Apartment was clean and comfortabl.

Pros: The street number given to get the key is a door that is closed. The place next door is the store/place to find the key. Very confusing when you get there.

Cons: The red light behind the TV was on a timer. It was on when we wanted to go to sleep and wasn’t sure nor did we want to break it while attempting to turn it off. Also dismantle the Rumba. We found it with our phone cord inside. Outlet in bathroom didn’t seem to work.
