Villa COLLIN - Promenade des Anglais

A little gem, perfect location, perfect host.

Pros: It’s a beautiful house, clean and well located, easy to hop onto the tram to central locations, literally a stones throw across the road to the beach. Beach gear / chairs included, spacious, near to shops. Jeremy was lovely and very helpful during our stay too.

Cons: Seven of us went there, and nearly all the bedrooms were equipped with aircon, except the one at the back. If it was, then the stay would have been perfect, as our daughter found the nights too hot otherwise.

Relaxing family stay with the beach facing. Perfecto

Pros: We were able to have a late check in, there was a €60 fee, however it was midnight so we didn’t mind :) The view from the front rooms were amazing and the property was clean and secure, we felt really safe. Also the tram is just around the corner, with easy access to travel to Antibes, Cannes and Monaco.

Cons: The front rooms were noisey through the night with cars and motorbikes, but to be expected when you are staying on the promenade close to a casino.

Pros: The location was excellent. The Promenade des Anglais can be noisy, but the house is such that most of the noise is muffled. The view of the sea was so nice and the security around the perimeter was excellent. We loved the high ceilings, the overall space, the lovely linen, and the redone and the very accommodating bathrooms. The house was very well equipped and Jeremy, the concierge, was most obliging and helpful.

Cons: There is little not to like about the villa. We had a rented car and parking in and exiting from the property was challenging. Getting out was the most difficult because the car had to be backed out onto Promenade des Anglais and frequently the cars parked on the street infringed on the space for backing out. The traffic does not move slowly, but we worked it out by having one of us walk to the pedestrian crossing and push the button. As soon as it was green and the traffic stopped there were about 10 seconds to complete backing out. It would be helpful to have a safety deposit box in the villa.

Pros: Location great. Fascinating house. Near boulangeries and a couple of restaurants. Great to lie in bed and watch people walking/cycling/running on Prom

Cons: The first few days were unseasonably chilly. There is minimal heating, and we found extra bedcovers.

Pros: Väldigt skön känsla i huset som har ca 50 meter till havet.

Pros: The house was stunning, and the views of the ocean were wonderful!

Cons: The beds were pretty old, but everything else was amazing.

Pros: Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft! Nostalgie! Französischer Charme! Sehr freundliche Übergabe!

Pros: La Villa était magnifique, très propre et très bien situé en face de la promenade des anglais et la plage. L'hôte était très gentil. Je le recommande fortement.

Vi havde et superdejligt ophold!

Pros: Den charmerende gamle villa ligger 50m fra stranden og gode private strande. Samtidig er stedet tæt på sporvogn der gør det meget nemt og billigt at komme til både bymidten og lufthavnen. Samtidig gør indretningen det superlet med et gruppe-ophold. De mange værelser og gode badefaciliteter gjorde det meget behageligt.
