Relaxation up on the hills above Nice

Pros: This place is a true gem. The view is stunning, sunsets golden and the atmosphere is calm&relaxed. Fabienne and Aimery (and Luna the dog) are doing wonderful job with hosting their guests. You’ll have a delicious french breakfast with self made yogurt and jams,swim toys for kids and a warm help with everything you need.They even lend you cards for public transport that you can then upload. It takes about half an hour to get to the center, but connections are handy (note that the last bus back to the house leaves already around 10 pm). The property contains two accomodations, but we were lucky to have the pool complitely to ourselves, cos there were no visitors at the other. The restaurant next door is extremely nice with a local feel. There is a supermarket quite close but it’s a bit pricey compared the ones down at the center. All in all, this place is one of the best homelike stays I’ve visited, I highly recommend it.

Cons: One needs to travel by bus and tram to the centre of Nice, but that for us was all part of the experience.

Beautiful house in stunning location.

Pros: Beautiful house in a stunning location. The views are breath taking. Honestly couldn’t believe how perfect this villa was. The owners were both so friendly and welcoming. They helped explain transport to us and the best places to go. Traditional French breakfast of croissants, pastries, yoghurt, fruit and coffee every morning on their patio with amazing views. We asked for an evening meal one night and it was perfect- Fabienne had prepared a huge luxurious French platter. There was so much, we couldn’t finish it and enjoyed snacking on it later on. The pool was perfect for keeping cool during the hot weather. Pool lights for night time use, very impressive. Balcony leading from the bedroom with stunning views all day including the sun setting behind the mountains in the evening. Good French restaurant less than 1 minute walk away. Beautiful flowers around the house and plenty of places to relax. The best holiday yet. Thank you so much.

Wonderful hosts in this lovely but quirky house in the Nice hillside.

Pros: Lovely location up in the hills of Nice. There’s a great restaurant literally next door and a small supermarket 10 mins walk. Bus is really easy to use and takes you to the tram into the centre of Nice. Wonderful breakfast with homemade jam served on the hosts terrace with a fabulous view. Hosts so friendly and wanting to make everything as perfect as possible. It’s an unusual place but we felt welcomed and relaxed.

Cons: The only downside was that we found it a little uncomfortable. The stairs to the bedroom are very small and steep so wouldn’t be ideal for any mobility problems or young children. We wanted to relax in the evening inside (it was May) but found the living room a bit uncomfortable. The private upstairs terrace was a great addition though.

Feels right at home!

Pros: Beautiful out house with a antique look but well maintained. Staying here makes you feel right at home with a full kitchen, great view and great vibes. The butter croissant and fresh orange juice every morning from Fabianne is another great touch to an already awesome stay.

Cons: It is a few minutes drive to the city center , but hey maybe you want that. :) We did!
