Magnificent apartment - Carré d'or

Beautiful, clean apartment in perfect location - I will be back!

Pros: Spotlessly clean, fantastic location, beautifully decorated, gorgeous, amazing price!

Cons: Not enough products in the property I’m afraid- for 5 nights (there were 3 of us) there was only 2 loo rolls, no washing up liquid or sponges, no tea or coffee. Aware that it’s not a necessity but it does make it a lot more comfortable to not have to provide too much!

Pleasant experience

Pros: The property was clean, had all the facilities, toilet paper, kitchen utensils and everything you need. The host was very kind.

Cons: There is no AC and it gets pretty hot, we had to sleep with the balcony door open and mosquitoes came in.

Overall a lovely stay and a lovely apartment in a good location.

Pros: Location good. Five minutes from supermarket, shops and restaurants and old town within a pleasant walk (about 20 mins).

Cons: Did not realise had to pick keys up from a separate location - about a 10 min car drive- and had already booked a taxi. Asked to go there first and luckily we weren’t charged extra. It would have been a long walk if we hadn’t seen the email beforehand. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a mirror meaning had to use the bathroom- awkward when everyone was wanting to use or use the toilet etc.

Pros: Property is fabulous and made our stay even more delightful. It’s in an ideal location close to all amenities and transport links. Instructions of how to access the property were really easy to understand. We had a pleasant stay and the property had everything we needed to accommodate us between our travelling Round Nice and other areas close by. Thanks again for making our stay really pleasant.

A wonderful apartment and location with a major drawback.

Pros: The location of this property was superb. It is just a few blocks from the Jean-Medicin tram stop, which takes you to and from the airport. It is also an easy 10-minute stroll through the fabulous shops of the Carre d'Or to the \

Cons: The only negative was the key pickup arrangement. The instructions were received on the day before our arrival to go to a location 1.4km from the apartment to get the keys. It was a 700 meter walk to the location from the tram. Upon arrival, the address was unclear and a stranger pointed us to the convenience store where the clerk had the keys. After obtaining the keys, we realized that we had a 19-minute walk (another 1.4 km walk ) through a dark tunnel under the train tracks to reach the apartment, rolling our bags. We are over 70, so this was a huge disadvantage after a very long trip. This apartment could easily be a 10/10 if not for this arrangement. I also feel this kind of arrangement should be CLEARLY communicated to all potential guests on the Booking site beforehand.

Pros: Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den Frühstücksbalkon und die vielen kleinen Geschäfte und Restaurants um die Wohnung herum.
