Apartment Malaussena - Reception 24&7 - Center Libération

Great apartment. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: We stayed in a 2BR apartment which is part of the Monsigny Hotel. The key is collected from the reception which was easy. The apartment was very clean and modern and had everything you want (great kitchen, fridge). The location is good. The beach area is about a 20-25 min walk. The train station is nearby and is easy and cheap to get the train to Cannes or Monaco (and even into Italy) for the day. The hotel has a restaurant which was quite good. We had dinner there a couple of nights (guests staying get a 15% discount). Tip when checking in; you walk through the restaurant entrance to get to the hotel reception.

Cons: We had a hire car and found it difficult to navigate to the hotel parking area. It's quite small and you have to drive through a one way lane onto the street footpath with people walking by to get to it.

Good location , Clean & Spacious

Pros: Clean, good location easy walk to the train station and almost opposite the tram line, able to leave luggages in the hotel reception, spacious has its own closet room

Fabulous flat accommodated 3 adults well. All mod cons except an iron or instructions for anything.

Pros: Great location - easy walking distance to central train station and other parts of Nice. Good sound proofing.

Cons: Tram outside the front and bell rings - fine with closed windows, but needed the windows open and air con set to heat only, so had it off during our stay. No welcome pack explaining anything - have to work everything out on your own. Nobody shows you your apartment. No iron or ironing table - have to borrow with €20 deposit at hotel reception. Front door straight onto the side street - drunks assembled outside, but host intervened to get hotel security to clear them first night and they didn’t reappear.

Pros: The room was spacious enough for our family, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were also very friendly. Although it is a bit away from the Nice beach, the location was perfect for us as we took the train to Cannes and Monaco. (Getting to the Nice beach is easy as well!) If we visit Nice again, we would definitely stay here.

Pros: When we arrived at Apartment Malaussena getting the keys was a seamless process, we went into the attached Hotel Monsigny and they straight away gave us our keys allowing us to check in early. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the strong ac with how hot it was outside. On check-out we were able to leave our bags in the attached hotel so we could keep exploring the city before our flight later in the day. The host Liza was amazing and willing to answer any question we had.

Pros: The rooms are large, cozy, beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable. Tram stop nearby. Nice market in the morning on the same street. Ideal option for a family vacation.

Cons: The toilet is quite small. It was inconvenient that there was no trash can in the bathroom. When taking a shower, the water splashes into the bathroom.

Pros: I would like to especially note the friendly staff and quality service, the location is normal, 15 minutes walk to the center, nearby are shops, a train station, a shopping center, we were a big family, we liked everything, thank you.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The flat looks even better in real. It was such a nice modern look. It was our first time in Nice. We arrived around 7 in the pouring rain. Picking up the key from the hotel next door was very smooth and the staff there is very helpful. The flat was very well prepared and had a incredibly comfortable beds. We then went looking for food and realized it is located on one of the main shopping street and had lots of food outlets open. The next morning we found the tram just in front of the property which was very handy, and the main train station 4 mins walk away. We were 3 adults and 3 children and it worked perfectly for us. I was incredibly happy to find the washing machine and washing powder in this flat. It is tucked very tightly under the stairs so best to pour the powder directly in the loader as you can't use the tray unless you pull it out completely. Parking can be a bit tricky around there but it was free until 6PM-9AM after than 2.4 euros for 2 hours. Not bad at all.

Pros: Wonderful apartment that looks exactly like the pictures! Spacious and very clean. Location was also good (25 min walk to the sea).
