Aston - Appartement Centre Ville Massena

Nice stay

Pros: The accommodation is in a very nice building, located right in the city center and very close to the beach. Despite the central location, it was quiet and peaceful. The space is large, comfortable, and offers a very nice view. The staff were very friendly, and the key collection process was easy and well organized. Definetly will come back.

Cons: In our case, the coffee machine was missing, but this was not an issue at all. With so many great coffee shops and pastry places nearby, it would almost be a pity to stay inside for coffee instead of going out and enjoying the area.

Good location and value for money for a short stay.

Pros: Good location. Easy to get to and from tram and old town.

Cons: Kitchen bit old and lacked some basic equipment (only had 3 cups for 4 people). Rest of apartment was clean and furnished well for a short stay. Good value for money.

Pros: Perfect location. Apartment is much larger than the photos suggest. Staff at the hotel were very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Cons: Sofa bed wasn’t cleaned but it’s a very minor thing.

Lovely apartment in a good location in Nice.

Pros: Good location in Nice for the old town & promenade & tram system. Apartment worked well for a family. Staff at hotel super helpful.

Cons: WiFi was not good & only worked if you opened the front door. No bottle opener/cork screw, otherwise good.

Relaxing and excellent stay

Pros: We had lovely stay at Aston apartment. It was much bigger in real than pics shown. Location is excellent, near to beach, shopping, old town, cafes and restaurants. Staff at Aston hotel was very helpful. We left our luggage with them on last day after check out as our flight was in evening.

Cons: Shower had no holder and shower curtain was not there, making it hard to shower.

Great appartment on excellent location close to everything

Pros: Nicely decorated apartment with airconditioning. Great location between the old city, beach and all the shops. Everything on walking distance. Big kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge with small freezer. Beds were comfortable.

Cons: It was not a big problem but the shower was in the bath and there was no handle to hang the shower so you needed to sit in the tun and hold the shower with one hand.

An excellent location and a fine appartment.

Pros: Excellent views of the old town and beyond. Great location for the Ironman village which was the purpose of our trip but also for the rest of Nice’s highlights.

Cons: In the flat it would have been useful to be left more essentials such as washing liquid, toilet rolls, neapresso pods etc The kitchen equipment was minimal and the glasses were few and no big tumblers.

Pros: The apt was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was near the tram and between the old and new town.

Cons: Only a few minor issues. A shower door or curtain for the bath and a tea towel and cloth to wipe the area down

We had a great stay at this property and would highly recommend it

Pros: Location is excellent The apartment has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay It is spacious with good air conditioning The staff in the hotel where you you check in are exceptionally nice and helpful and deserve a 10/10 mention

Cons: There are minor maintenance issues that would not impact your stay but the property owner should address The shower head should be mounted on the wall and a shower curtain or door fitted as currently you need to sit in the bath to have a shower which may not be ideal for everyone

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, and we would definitely stay here again if we return.

Pros: Positive Aspects: \t•\tThe location of the hotel was excellent; it was very close to both the sea, shopping malls, and the old town. There was a jazz festival during our stay, which made it a bit noisy, but it didn’t bother us. \t•\tThe elevator in the building was very narrow, which could be difficult for families with children, but it wasn’t a problem for us. \t•\tThe size of the apartment was perfect, very spacious. There were also amenities like a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Cons: Areas for Improvement: \t•\tThe kitchen utensils were very limited; there was only one pan, which made cooking very difficult. We ended up buying our own sharp knives and a pan. For a hotel like this, providing such utensils shouldn’t be too costly. 😊 \t•\tThe kitchen and bathroom were clean but very old. No matter how clean they were, they didn’t appear very hygienic because of their age. If the sink and bathtub were replaced, it would create a much more comfortable environment. \t•\tWe stayed for about two weeks, so we had to buy our own dish soap, paper towels, etc. This might not be necessary for those staying only 2-3 days.
