Happy to recommend or stay again!

Pros: The staff at Reception were exceptionally helpful and friendly. My room was spacious and very quiet (I had requested a quiet room). We only had breakfast on a couple of days due to the added expense, but it was excellent. The location is brilliant on the Promenade des Anglais with plenty of bus and tram stops around and a pleasant walk to the old town and shops. Despite my comments about what I didn't like, I want to be clear that I was very happy with my stay overall and would happily recommend or stay again.

Cons: I felt that the cleaning of the bedroom and bathroom was a bit 'random'. The same hair was in the same position on the bathroom floor throughout my stay. Not a terrible problem, but an indication that the floor had not perhaps been cleaned. The tiling in the bathroom was not finished to the standard I would expect of a 4 star hotel. I had a rather frustrating conversation with the night Receptionist on one occasion when I phoned down after having a shower to ask her to see if I had left my bottle of Evian water (purchased in a shop) in the lobby area. I felt she was not understanding me (I can't claim to speak more than elementary French so spoke mostly in English) and, sure enough, she had a new bottle of water delivered to my room which was charged to me. They were very good about deducting it from the bill.

Great every time!

Pros: Second stay at the hotel. Wonderful views. Wonderful location. Great breakfast! The staff went out of their way to support us and our baby.

Cons: The room cleaning happened quite late in the afternoon which was slightly inconvenient for us.

Luxury at Nice promenade

Pros: Location right on spot. At the promonade, room with sea view, restaurants nearby and old town at walking distance. Very nice comfortable room, spacy, but bathroom was adequate but bit tiny. Hotel personnel very polite and helpfull. Hotel has a good restaurant and also the breakfast buffet was more than adequate.

Cons: Temperature control in the room somewhat strange as it works with summer and winter settings centralized for the whole hotel. Regardsless sunny 25 degrees days for the hotel it was already wintertime so no airco available to cool the room. Open windows during diner helped to cool down with fresh air before sleeping. Shower in bath, worked but we prefer separate shower.
