BARILLERIE - Loft Moderne

A fantastic place from which to explore Nice!

Pros: This property has one of the best fitted out kitchens you’ll have the pleasure to use in a holiday rental including a fantastic washing machine. The location in the old town is brilliant - close to everything, including the beach, the hosts are super friendly and very, very helpful. I loved staying here and recommend it highly.

Cons: This won’t be a concern for everyone, but there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment. If you are younger than us and/or don’t have much luggage, it won’t be a problem. Just take it into account.

Loved our stay in Nice. Would return to the apartment but would be mindful of the steps and stairs.

Pros: Location was perfect and the apartment was spacious and comfortable, also spotless.

Cons: The steps up to the apartment were rather steep and the open stairs up to the mezzanine were a bit scary.

Pros: Good location, very clean, however the sea view is limited and the accommodation compromised. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle with the steep stairs and getting into the mezzanine sleeping area. We were fine and the description probably covers these issues but they should be highlighted.

We loved our time here, location ideal and comfortable stay!

Pros: The apartment is beautiful and well equipped - we visited as a family of three (with 1 year old) and the location was ideal.

Cons: The steep steps from the main door to the apartment door are quite tricky with a baby/pram/luggage but it’s worthwhile for the location

Pros: Very spacious property, perfect for family of four. Loved the artwork and the decor of the apartment. It was so lovely of Greg and Yann to welcome their guests with a bottle of wine.

Pros: The spaciousness of the apartment, its functional layout and the interior are tasteful and stylish. I have been staying here for many years. The standard and cleanliness have been maintained despite the passage of time. It's like returning to your home in Nice. And this extraordinary location in an old house with a soul between a winery and an Indian restaurant, a step from the market square and arcades overlooking the sea...

Cons: no handrail at the exit from the kitchen to the living room.

It’s the perfect location for a long weekend and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Pros: Fantastic location and very clean, comfortable and well-equipped.

Cons: Steep stairs to apartment which would be difficult with large and heavy bags but didn’t affect me as I had a small case.

Excellent apartment

Pros: It was excellent location in the old town. Everything was within walking distance and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was extremely clean. A travel cot and high chair was supplied with no issue. Recommendations were given on where to eat and how to visit other areas within the region.

Barillerie moderne apartment

Pros: We liked the position of the apartment. It was in a great spot for both the beach and for sightseeing. The daily market 2 mins walk away was fabulous and in the evening, dining out was very plentiful. The apartment was fully sound proofed and the air conditioning was very efficient. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. The apartment was clean.

Cons: If you have mobility issues, this apartment would be difficult to navigate as it is up a very steep staircase. The bathroom towels could have been of better quality but they were adequate.

Amazing location and clean modern apartment

Pros: The location is fantastic and really can’t beat it. You are waking distance to so many places to eat ( there is a main drag of spots) and also the morning markets. The beach and beach clubs are also just down the road. The apartment is spacious, clean and fairly sound proof. The two sofa beds were also easy to make and fairly comfy. Aircon was very good. You can also walk to nice station which is about 30 minutes or so

Cons: The loft part where the top bed is isn’t ideal for tall people. My partner and I had to hunch over to get to the bed and make sure we didn’t hit our head. Once in the bed, it wasn’t an issue but just getting there was a bit uncomfortable ( you would need to be under around 150cm to stand up)
