Pros: Location is excellent, right in the middle of Old town, besides lots of lovely cafes and wee shops. Walking distance to the beach, the port and castle Hill. Tram stop is nearby The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with good air conditioning and modern facilities. Washing machine was a bonus.
Cons: This apartment is on the third floor with lots of steps up to it. Definitely not suitable for families with young children or older people. There was no kettle but we managed with the coffee maker.

Quirky apartment in great location
Pros: Fantastic location in the heart of the Old Town. Easy access to shops, cafes, seafront, market and many cultural attractions, as well as the more commercial shopping centre. Perfect for us. Apartment was basic with no frills, but quirky and very reasonably priced - exactly what we expected and wanted. Nice was wonderful, dozens of coffee shops and restaurants and independent shops, super local food (socca!), market, beautiful churches and cathedrals, several museums/galleries and, of course, the stunning seafront. Little warning - if you struggle with stairs this apartment isn't for you. Pay attention to the info which clearly states that it's on the 3rd floor with no lift, it's quite a hike!
Cons: Communication with the owner was disappointing. Our phones would not accept the WiFi code so I messaged querying this. No response received at all. On the second day the shower broke and again I messaged - this time they did respond and asked for a photo but when I replied that I couldn't attach a photo in the app, I heard nothing more from them. We couldn't get the TV working either, but didn't even bother to message due to the lack of response on the first two issues. The only other thing I'd mention is that it's in the heart of the Old Town which means at night you'll be walking down tiny dark streets. Was fine for us as we headed back while there were still lots of people around, but a single traveller out late night should probably be a bit cautious.
