Hôtel La Villa des Oliviers

Pleasant short stay in a lovely small boutique hotel close to the beach and promenade.

Pros: The hotel is excellent at communicating with it's clients even prior to arrival. On arrival I was greeted by a gentleman who I presumed was the owner of the hotel and not an employee. He was most helpful with check in and.other matters. The room met with my expectations as regards overall size and cleanliness. The bonus was the balcony from which I could see the sea in the near distance. Breakfast the next day was a continental one of bread rolls, cream cheeses etc washed down by fruit juice and coffee. I loved the location of the hotel, it's close proximity to the beaches, many restaurants and small supermarkets. Great value for money hotel.

Cons: It was lucky that I carried an eye mask, this because at night there is strip lighting that runs the length of this small hotel and light pollution does filter into the room. That said it didn't bother me much, and it may well have been switched off somewhere in the night.

Highly recommend as this was great value for the money.

Pros: Jean Pierre was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Location is great, bed comfortable, room spotless.

Cons: The only suggestion would be to give the shower a good s rub to get rid of the mold.

Pros: A 3 star hotel, clean and recently (2021/2022) refreshed with new owner, the property is 2mins walking distance from the sea. Air-conditioned room, with a comfortable mattress, and strong force shower, we will book again.

Cons: Cosy little room with limited space for a large suitcase on the floor, but we are there for the sea, and we only stayed overnight. A safe box is always useful, although I did not check if there was one (we stayed a short night only).

Pros: The staff was really helpful, very kind and friendly. Anything that we asked for they provided with a smile.

Great place close to the beach in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Pros: I enjoyed my stay here very much. The rooms very big enough with very comfortable beds, there was a very pleasant outdoor seating area, and the wi-fi worked great. I did not try the breakfast as I wanted to sleep in, but there is also a very good (although crowded!) coffee shop / bakery a few minutes away by foot. The beach is literally right down the road and takes about two minutes to get to, and there are some pretty good restaurants nearby. All-in-all, a very nice stay.

Cons: Only complaint would be the shower was a bit cramped, but I'm a big guy, so that's partly on me I guess!

Pros: I stayed at this hotel for a few days and I must say it was a truly pleasant stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, always ready to accommodate my every request. The hotel is well-maintained and modern, with comfortable and clean rooms. The location is perfect for those who want to enjoy the sea while exploring the area's cultural attractions. Overall, I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay in a strategic location.
