Beautiful traditional French chateau / villa

Pros: It’s a beautiful traditional French Chateau with loads of character. Beautiful large garden with lots of fruit trees and a massive olive tree in the centre. Pool area and surroundings were super with lots of individual areas to relax and enjoy the privacy. The property has everything one needs. Nearest grocery store a short walk but uber eats delivers too.

An enjoyable and relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: Beautiful, large garden. Well-maintained pool. Charming, clean house. No need for AC, the house stays cool enough. The property is located on a hill, the temperature is always a good 6-8 degrees cooler/fresher than in town/on the beach. Tapwater is good drinking water, wifi is fine. A working piano was a nice surprise.

Cons: Needs better beds.

A perfect retreat for a group of friends within touching distance of Nice

Pros: We love the big pool/garden area, the lovely outdoor seating area just outside the main house perfect for late night conversations, and the kitchen is great.

Cons: Aircon would make this place perfect, also the smaller accommodation to the side of the house seemed to be a little damp and quite a few plug sockets did not work

Great authentic french maison stay near Nice in La Gaude

Pros: Great family or families stay near Nice in La Gaude. We loved the authentic old french maison look and feel. The house locates in La Gaude village on very quiet street and have outstanding private garden with good pool our kids used a lot. The garden and pool area is very beautiful and a lot of sunbeds and sunshelter gives a great rest possibilities. We all had also very good night sleep as rooms were naturally cold enough on these quite hot days. Very good grossery store nearby-10min walk and welm equiped kichen and outdoor eating and rest area to enjoi french delicatesses. The location is great to visit nearby french riviera cities like Nice, Antibbes, Cannes, Menton and also Monaco. All these aprox 45-60min drive. Very good hiking area in neighbour village just 5min to drive.

Cons: The house and surrounding needs some maintenance work, some lamps did't work, toilet door in sidebuilding didn't close and open well and the cleaness should be better. Garbage shorting is not well organised and clear. In our room, there were a lot of staff best held in gardenhouse so guest can put their staff somewhere. There is no working guest gate and need to use car gate is not very comfortable. The place needs some owner regular cear a little more.

a wonderful holiday making some great memories

Pros: the garden and pool were beautiful, lots of space, with olive and fruit trees - completely private. There were lots of different seating areas - sun, shade, eating, lounging - as we were a group of 6 this allowed us to be together or find our own space which was perfect. the house is charming and very well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. 2 of the bedrooms are in a separate building which suited us. It felt like a real home and not a holiday let which we loved.

Cons: there were steep steps to get upstairs which may not suit everyone and it was a 15 minute walk to the nearest shops.

Pros: Villa très agréable à vivre et joliment décorée avec un magnifique jardin entourant la piscine Mieux que sur les photos! Environnement paisible

Fantastisch huis op een mooie rustige locatie

Pros: Fantastisch huis met een mooie tuin en zwembad, op een mooie locatie vlakbij mooie plaatsen. Nice, Monaco, Menton...

Toppenvecka i supercharmigt provensalskt hus!

Pros: Huset är fantastiskt, så charmigt och så provensalskt! Precis som vi hade hoppats. Trädgården, uteplatsen och poolen gör att vistelsen var underbar! Det märks att det är någon med god smak för inredning och möbler som lagt ner sin själ i huset. Det är så fint! Och som gjort för att umgås med familj och vänner. Wow! Vi trivdes så bra allihop! :)

Cons: Vi gillade allt! Man får dock komma ihåg att det är ett gammalt hus vilket kan vara anledningen till att det luktade lite när vi kom, det var lite dammigt här och var men det gör på det stora hela ingenting. Soptömningen blev det inget med då vi inte fått information om att vi var tvungna att dra upp soptunnan till vägen. Den blev således mer än full på en vecka, men det är petitesser i sammanhanget.
