Pros: Probably the best location in Nice and a great host.

Cons: Steep stairs to upper bedroom could be an issue to some but it’s manageable.

Pros: It was a wonderful two bedroom apartment for my wife, myself and a good friend. It was clear, spacious, and the location was excellent. Very close to dining, shopping and the tram to the old town. Jean was much more than a great host, she has become a friend. We had some problems, (not with her or the apartment) and she was very gracious and giving to help us out. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. I wish we were young enough to visit again.

Cons: We had to leave as our stay ended.

Pros: Great location and there's a small lift which after some 4th floor walk ups was a dream! Each room has its own bathroom too. Jeanne was lovely, met us there, made some recommendations and helped us get to the airport on the day we left.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like, just be aware both toilets are downstairs and the stairs to the bedroom should be negotiated carefully in the night!

Excellent

Pros: Excellent location. 1 minute walk from tram station that brings you directly to airport. Located across the road from the beautiful Old Town. Very comfortable, spacious apartment with good cooking facilities. Lovely balcony to watch the world go by. Handy to have a lift when you were carrying heavy bags.

Cons: A small note - visible information on how to recycle would be good to have. We did bring our recyclable rubbish to the local bins, but perhaps this information could be made clear so visitors know what to do.

City girls

Pros: Great location, balcony for morning coffee overlooking the hillside was beautiful. All the little extras were a treat, shopping bags, beach umbrellas, cleaning products and lots of towels. Our host was lovely.

Lovely, spacious apartment in a very nice area.

Pros: Quaint apartment right opposite the park, lovely neighbourhood. Very easy to get around the city. Spacious.

We would go back to La Garibaldi without question

Pros: Superb locality close to markets, restaurant and really good transport links. Suited our adult family group to a tee.

Pros: Jeanne was so helpful and made everything so easy. The apartment was quirky and fresh and in a superb area close to the airport tram stop.

The apartment with surprises.

Pros: Perfect location. Big apartments. A very responsive host, always ready to help at any moment and provides recommendations.

Cons: The apartment wasn't clean, the floor and the bathroom were dirty. There were hairs in the bathroom from previous guests. On the second day, we decided to take a shower in the upstairs bathroom. However, there was a leaking pipe, and water was pouring from the ceiling through the light fixture. Luckily, we were all in the apartment and noticed the water coming from the ceiling. We didn't use the bathroom again. A day later, we returned from the beach, but there was no water. The neighbors helped us turn the water back on as someone had shut it off. The neighbors also asked us not to use the upstairs bathroom. I believe this wasn't the first time the water had leaked.

Brilliant host and a great location.

Pros: The host responded to any questions immediately and was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was excellent. The location of the flat allows easy access to all areas of Nice.

Cons: There wasn't anything we disliked.
